Currently, the Directorate is seeking dynamic professionals to contribute to the Sustainable and Quality Tourism Development Program (SQTDP), a high-impact initiative executed in strategic partnership with the World Bank. ## Position Overview: Secretariat and Substantive Support Personnel
Bappenas is looking to onboard dedicated individuals who can seamlessly blend administrative precision with substantive analytical capabilities.
* Form: Contract worker (Non-State Civil Apparatus / Non-ASN)
* Openings: 2 (two) positions
* Initial Contract Duration: 10 (ten) months
## Key Qualifications and Requirements
To thrive in this environment, candidates must meet specific academic, linguistic, and professional benchmarks.
* Educational Background: Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree (S1) in Urban and Regional Planning (Planologi) or Economics.
* Academic Achievement: A minimum Grade Point Average (GPA) of 3.00 on a 4.0 scale. Fresh graduates are warmly encouraged to apply.
* Language Proficiency: Strong command of the English language, verified by standardized test scores meeting these minimum thresholds:
* TOEFL ITP: 500
* TOEFL iBT: 80
* TOEFL Prediction: 500
* Exclusions: Applicants must not currently hold status as a State Civil Apparatus (ASN), member of the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI), or National Police (Polri), and must not possess a Civil Servant Identification Number (NIP).
Preferred Competencies
Candidates possessing the following backgrounds will receive strong preference during the evaluation process:
* Demonstrated involvement in relevant organizational activities, academic research, professional projects, or internships.
* Prior work experience or internships with Bappenas, the World Bank, or other international development institutions.
* Practical expertise in tourism development, economic development, spatial planning, sustainable growth, public policy, or international development cooperation.
## Scope of Work and Responsibilities
Selected candidates will play an instrumental role in ensuring the smooth execution of the SQTDP. Core responsibilities include:
1. Administrative Excellence: Facilitating seamless administrative workflows and coordination for all SQTDP operational activities.
2. Substantive Support: Assisting in the preparation, processing, and comprehensive documentation of technical and substantive program materials.
3. Compliance and Quality Control: Ensuring that all documentation required for program execution meets rigorous standards of completeness and accuracy.
4. World Bank Collaboration: Supporting the review and quality assurance processes for documents submitted to secure a No Objection Letter (NOL) from the World Bank, while following up on feedback from international stakeholders.
5. Multi-Stakeholder Coordination: Acting as a bridge for effective communication between the Directorate, the SQTDP team, the World Bank, various ministries and government agencies, local regional governments, and external partners.
